Jack Ellis has worked as a Mediator for the past fourteen years, and specialises in mediation, conflict resolution, non-government organisation disputes, difficult workplace conversations, employment disputes and construction disputes.
He believes adult learners do not need a trainer to read and absorb written information, so he avoids walking participants through detailed slides.
Instead, Jack teaches the practical application of theoretical material through demonstration and modelling. He welcomes challenges and questions, and makes sure each workshop is relevant to the specific needs of participants and the organisations they work for.
He teaches on the Alternative Dispute Resolution programs at Macquarie University and Western Sydney University and coaches the Mediation programs at the NSW College of Law.
Jack's formal qualifications include a Juris Doctor (Law) and a Masters of Dispute Resolution. He is also a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW, a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, and a Nationally Accredited Mediator.
